A Bit More About Me
I received my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from UCLA after completing my BA in psychology at USC, and I’ve been working with clients for 20 years across a range of settings in Los Angeles.
At Pepperdine University, I teach courses in cognitive behavioral therapy, research methods, and academic writing. I’ve also held numerous leadership positions within the university and in professional organizations like the American Psychological Association and the Asian American Psychological Association.
My writing has been featured in the New York Times, PopSugar, and LA Parent. I have published several peer-reviewed articles in academic journals, and my research focuses on Asian American and South Asian mental health.
